Windies women outclass Pakistan in T20
Pakistan women’s cricket team is on a tour of West Indies and in the first T20 match the Windies women defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets.
Pakistan were put into bat by the Windies and the decision proved to be the right one as they were able to restrict Pakistan to 74/9 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Pakistan’s top scorer was Alia Riaz with 16 runs. From the West Indies Smartt and Dottin took 2 wickets each.
West Indies easily chased down the target with 22 balls to spare and 8 wickets in hand. Dottin was the top scorer with 38 runs and was rightfully declared man of the match.
Pakistan now trail in the 3 match T20 series 1-0 after having lost the 4 match ODI series earlier by a margin of 3-1. Pakistan and West Indies will play the final two T20 matches on the 31st of October and 1st of November.
