Karachi: 12th Ranking Snooker Championship will start from September 29 here at National Bank Sports Complex, ARY Sports reported.
As many as 35 quests will take part in the mega event. Players have been divided into eight different groups. Out of 35, 32 are top-ranked players while three will be seen in action.
World Champion Mohammad Asif will be the top-seed player.
Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA)’s president Munawwar Hussain Sheikh is confident that snooker will be back safer after COVID-19. “We are looking forward to a successful event after a long gap,” he said. “We have set COVID-19 protocols and will try to strictly follow them. Players and officials’ safety is our first priority,” he added.
