Pakistan defied all odds to make into the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2017. They were a bunch of players, who were not taken into any account as contenders to win the trophy and now they are just a step away from creating history. The lowest ranked team of the tournament, after suffering a humiliating defeat against India, turned the tables in the most prolific manner. It has once again proved that you can never write off Pakistan.

As Pakistan outperformed the tournament’s favourites, England, national and international players flooded Sarfraz & Co. with praises.

Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram showed utmost support for the team in final and hailed the way they played.

Another former Pakistan captain and the one half of Two W’s, Waqar Younis slammed England captain Eion Morgan for blaming the pitch for their loss.

England’s ex-skipper and stylish batsman, Michael Vaughan seemed to be blown away by Pakistan’s show in all three aspects of the game.

Michael Vaughan’s counrtyman Kevin Petersen had all praise for Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the win did not surprise him.

Sri Lankan batting great admired Pakistan’s strong character after defeat against India.

Dale Steyn termed ranking irrelevant in knockout games.

Pakistan will face the winner of India and Bangladesh match in the final.
