KARACHI: Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has called Pakistani fast bowler Wahab Riaz’s spell against Australia in the quarter final of the World Cup as the the best spell of the mega event, ARYSports.tv reports.
Sachin Tendulkar has said that Riaz’s bowling against Australia was amazing and had never seen such a spell before.
“I have not yet forgotten his performance in the match”, Tendulkar said.
The pacer had Australia’s Shane Watson all over the place with his aggressive bowling in the crucial quarter final which Pakistan lost by six wickets.
Rahat Ali dropped Watson off Riaz’s stunning bouncer, which could have turned the match in Pakistan’s favor.
Many cricketing experts and legends such as Brian Lara,Kevin Pietersen, Tom Moody, Scott Styris and even Shane Watson himself had lauded the pacer’s spell in the match.
