Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad and all-rounder Faheem Ashraf will give the fitness test as part of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) new policy of conducting fitness tests of provisional contracted players.
Not just them, Quaid-e-Azam Trophy-winning team Central Punjab first XI’s physical fitness test will be held tomorrow under the supervision of PCB Strength and Conditioning Coach Yasir Malik.
Faheem and Ahmed Shehzad were also part of Central Punjab’s team but will give the test on January 21 and 22 as they both are busy in playing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Test captain Azhar Ali and Central Punjab captain Babar Azam have already given the fitness tests with the Pakistan cricket team.
Not just Central Punjab, other provincial teams including Lahore and surrounding players will also be tested.
It must be noted that if a player fails to meet the requirements, he will be fined 15 percent of his monthly retainer.
