‘Aim is to register a record in Tokyo Olympics’ Arshad Nadeem

LAHORE: Pakistani Javelin Thrower Arshad Nadeem is confident to bag media for his country in Olympics 2020 slated to start in Tokyo from July 23.

Athletics Federation Pakistan (AFP) organized a see-off ceremony on Monday for Arshad and his coach Fayyaz Bukhari who will depart for Tokyo for Olympics participation.

AFP’s president Akram Sahi and secretary Mohammad Zafar wished the athlete the best of luck for the mega event. They called Arshad a hope for bringing medal to the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Arshad said he has worked hard to prepare himself for the event and aim record performance in his discipline.

“I have prepared myself strongly for the event. I aim to register a record and win medal for Pakistan,” he said.

“I am confident to show my strength full performance. Meanwhile, I request people to pray for my success in Olympics,” he concluded.
