Tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq to leave for US Open on Tuesday


Karachi: Pakistan’s Tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq is ready to return to the court as he will leave on Tuesday for United States to participate in US Open.

In the men’s doubles of the US Open, Aisam will be the partner of Dominic Inglot of Great Britain. Aisam will decide on his participation in the Cincinnati Open after the end of the US Open.

He has undergone the mandatory COVID-19 test before departure and has been declared clear for the travel after the COVID-19 test report came negative.

It must be noted that Aisam and his partner Inglot won the New York Open. They defeated the American duo of Steve Johnson and Reilly Opelka 7-6, 7-6.
