Pakistan’s tennis star, Aisam Ul Haq wants new tennis academies for the betterment of the sports in the country.
While talking to media on Sunday, Haq mentioned that it has been fifteen years since a new tennis academy being established in Pakistan. He suggested turning tennis courts into academies and hopes that it will help develop the sports in Pakistan.
“If opportunities are given at the grass-root level, there is no doubt that Pakistan will get talented players,” Aisam Ul Haq said.
The 38-year-old has high hopes from the Prime Minister Imran Khan that being a former sportsman himself, he will work for the development of sports in the country.
Haq is not happy with his performance in the concluding year of 2018, however, he hopes for better results in 2019 with Doha and Australian Open in his sight.
