Pakistan’ test skipper Misbah ul Haq has said that Saeed Ajmal was an integral part of Pakistan across all formats and considering how he performed in the test series against England in 2012, he surely be missed in the upcoming series.
Misbah appeared in front of media after the training camp in Lahore ended on Friday afternoon. He was not sure that when is he going to retire from tests as well and it cannot be confirmed that he will call it a day after the test series vs England in UAE. Although he did make it clear that he wanted to end his career at a peak rather than the opposite.
He said that England are a very good side and having won the Ashes their confidence will be high but he was hopefulthat Pakistan will produce a good performance and turn the tables over the Barmy Army.
Pakistan and England will begin the three match test series on the 13 of October on the grounds of UAE.
