Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Shaharyar Khan on Sunday said that spinner Saeed Ajmal has cleared all varieties of bowling and would be Pakistan’s spearhead bowler in series after World Cup.
“There will be cricket after World Cup,” Shaharyar told reporters on Sunday. “Ajmal has cleared all doosra, teesra and every kind of bowls he has in store. We will need him in series after World Cup.”
“We will be playing series against India, England and probably against Bangladesh. We would need him then,” he added.
He added that PCB wants to go on with the series against Bangladesh but BCB must share profits since it was Pakistan’s turn to host the bilateral series.
“It was our turn so BCB must share profits with us,” he said.
However, he added that the two boards are negotiating and the series would go on as decided.
