Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar was hit by Mitchel Santner during Day three of the first Test between Australia and New Zealand at Perth Stadium on Saturday.

While giving back-up to a throw targeting the stumps, Santner smashed into Dar who fell immediately on the ground following knee pain.

The pain was serious as physicians from both the teams came into the ground to check up the umpire lying in the ground. Dar was sprayed on his left leg’s knee and later was ok to continue with the match.

The incident’s video got viral on social media and cricket fans across from the globe commented on it wittily. Besides them, some prayed for Dar for a speedy recovery.
