Ali, Bell take England to 303 against Scotland


CHRISTCHURCH: Moeen Ali scored 128 as England posted 303 for eight batting first against Scotland in the World Cup Pool A match at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Monday.

Ali and Ian Bell (54) put on 172 for the first wicket, the highest opening partnership in the tournament so far.

For Scotland, Josh Davey took four for 68.
