Amir comes in support of Shaheen after dismal performances in England ODIs

Karachi: Retired pacer Mohammad Amir has backed Pakistan’s sperahead Shaheen Shah Afridi after he had a poor outing in the three-match T20I series against England.

The 21-year-old Shaheen took two wickets in three-match series and conceded 78 runs in final ODI. The hosts outclassed Green Shirts with 3-0 win.

Amir rated Shaheen as the current best of Pakistan cricket and advised him to not listen to the critics

“In my opinion, Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of the finest bowlers and the best Pakistan has currently, Shaheen keep your head high,” he tweeted.

“You have done it before and you will smash it again InshaAllah, don’t take some attention seekers dislikeness to your heart,” he added.
