Amir confident for Waseem’s success in upcoming fight



Rawalpindi: British boxer Amir Khan said he is confident for Mohammad Waseem to win his upcoming fight against Mexican boxer on December 19 in Lahore. 

Khan, who has a family background from Pakistan, traveled to Scotland to meet Waseem who is busy in preparations for his fight there. In his meeting with Waseem, Khan motivated him for his upcoming fight.

“I am confident for Waseem to win this fight and retain his dominancy at world level,” said Khan who is managing Waseem’s fight in Pakistan.

“Waseem is an inspiration for upcoming youngsters like Usman Wazir who want to represent Pakistan at the international level. I will work with Waseem to unearth more talented boxers in the country,” he concluded.

It must be noted here that Waseem is currently ranked four in the world and his Mexican opponent is at number 10.
