Amir, Haris pulled out of ‘bio-secure’ England tour


Lahore: Paceman Mohammad Amir and middle-order batsman Haris Sohail are not available for the ‘bio-secure’ England tour, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Thursday. 

Amir wants to be with his family at the birth of his second child in August whereas Haris has withdrawn from the tour citing family reasons.

The PCB said that it will send 28 players and 14 player support personnel for three Tests and three T20Is to be played in August and September. The squad and schedule of the tour will be announced soon.
