Amir rates Naseem Shah ahead of other emerging Pakistani pacers

Karachi: Pakistan’s senior fast bowler Mohammad Amir has rated emerging fast-bowler Naseem Shah ahead of other emerging pacers in the team.

The 28-year-old in an interview with former captain Wasim Akram said that Naseem’s pitches at the right areas that sets him apart from others.

“I think Naseem Shah would click earlier than other bowlers in the side because he has pace like others but his length is generally very good. The areas where he bowls are really good and it really suits his bowling action. He bowls full,” Amir said.

“Hasnain is doing well, he needs a little more time and he has to work on his variations. He needs to play more first-class cricket,” Amir added on Mohammad Hasnain, who was the leading wicket-taker in the recently held Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five.

He didn’t include Shaheen Shah Afridi among the young pacers as he thinks, the 20-year-old has established his name in the Pakistan line-up.
