After men, international cricket has revived for women cricketers as the West Indies women’s cricket team is on the tour of Karachi to play three T20I matches.
The enthusiastic crowd turned up at the Southend Club to not only support Pakistan but the resumption of international cricket in Pakistan. Such emotions filled cricket drama always gives exciting and unforgettable memories.
After West Indies’ three-match T20I series against Pakistan at the National Stadium Karachi, this is the first international event taking place in Pakistan which will be followed by eight matches of the upcoming season of the PSL in Lahore and Karachi in March.
The children from different schools witnessed the match along with local crowd who came to the ground to watch international cricket scene.
A young cricket fan in the crowd Naseema while talking to the ARY Sports thanked the West Indian team for giving them such amazing moments.
“Thank You West Indies for playing your part in the revival of international cricket in Pakistan,” she said.
Another avid cricket fan Fatima, who was having Pakistani flag painted on her face, chanted the slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and wished to meet the West Indian players. Fatima revealed that she likes playing cricket but her parents prefer studies over sports.
“You win or lose, we will keep on supporting you,” she said.
