Asian Snooker Confederation should pull back hosting rights from India: President PBSA

The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) has recorded their protest against Asian Confederation of Billiards and Snooker (ACBS) for giving back the hosting rights of U-21 Championship to India.

The President of PBSA Munawar Sheikh while talking to the media said that ASC should take back the hosting rights from India as it will cause problems for them to send their players to participate in the events.

“India does not provide visas to Pakistan players so how will they be able to take part in the upcoming championships,” said Sheikh who once again appealed to the ASC to change their decision.

The U-21 Snooker Championship is scheduled in April in which Pakistan is to send their players.

Sheikh revealed that the ASC has assured that they will help the PBSA in a visa process of their players. “If we get visas then we will ask the government for NOCs for the players,” said Sheikh.
