Pakistan team’s opening batsman Fakhar Zaman is looking forward to taking up the challenge against mighty Australia at their home ground.
In a video message after contributing 43 runs in Pakistan’s win over Cricket Australia XI in a practice match, Zaman said that this win will boost their confidence before taking on Australia in first T20I in November 3.
“This was a good practice game and we tried to adjust ourselves in the condition. Our main challenge is against Australia and we are focused for that,” the left-handed batsman.
Talking about match plan against the emerging team of Australia, Zaman said that target was low and they had planned to spend longer time at the crease.
“I and Babar planned to play according to the situation and stay at the crease longer to gain rhythm,” he said.
The explosive batsman is happy to gain his form back after continuous failures in recent times. “National T20 Cup had played an important role in gaining my form back. I am really looking forward to show my strength against the Aussies,” he concluded.
