David Warner (48*) and Aaron Finch (52*) comfortably chased 108-runs target for Australia in just 12 overs as they beat Pakistan in the third contest by 10 wickets to win the three-match T20I series 2-0.
Both the Australian openers looked in great touch as they partnered strongly to put immense pressure on the Pakistani bowlers. Finch’s inning included four boundaries and three sixes while Warner smashed as many boundaries and two maximums.
Earlier, Australia made the most of home conditions as their bowlers restricted Pakistan to 107-8 in 20 overs in the third and last T20I at Perth on Friday.
Kane Richardson bowled brilliant four overs and took three wickets for 19 runs. Mitchel Starc, with early destruction, bagged two wickets while Sean Abbott took as many wickets to take the hosts on top.
From Pakistan, only Iftikhar Ahmed showed some fight as the hard-hitting batsman put fighting 45 runs off 37 balls on the scoreboard. Imam-ul-Haq was the other batsman who entered double figures by scoring 14 runs.
