Karachi: Former skipper Azhar Ali said he will guide the newly appointed Test captain Babar Azam where and when needed.
Taking to Twitter, Azhar congratulated Babar for replacing him as Test skipper.
“Congratulations Babar for being appointed as test captain, all the best brother. I assure my full support to you. May Allah help you achieve many glorious victories for Pakistan Ameen,” he wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan’s head coach Mikey Arthur also congratulated the young batsman for becoming Test skipper. “Congratulations Babar, wishing you all the success as test captain of Pakistan, except of course against Sri Lanka,” he wrote.
