Azhar Ali to donate PKR 1 million to ‘Prime Minister Relief Fund for COVID-19’


Karachi: Pakistan’s Test skipper Azhar Ali has come forward for his countrymen and announced to donate PKR one million to ‘Prime Minister Relief Fund for COVID-19’. 

Responding to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s appeal for donations, Ali wrote on Twitter that he will be playing his part in this good cause.

It must be noted here that PM Khan has setup ‘Prime Minister Relief Fund for COVID-19’ to better serve people in the country during coronavirus pandemic. The government has revealed bank account details in which Pakistanis from across the world can donate.

Coronavirus has hit the entire world with its intensity. Almost all countries are affected by this virus which has taken plenty of lives. Several cities are locked down and public gatherings are strictly prohibited. Major sports events around the world have also been postponed.
