Babar, Asad steers Pakistan to 336-3 against Australia A on Day 1


Ton-up Babar Azam and Asad Shafiq guide Pakistan to 336-3 on Day 1 of a tour match against Australia A at Perth Stadium.

Both the middle-order batsmen dominated completely against the opponents’ bowler after Pakistan lost their top three batters for just 60 runs.

Babar remained not out for 157 runs while Asad showed his experience and scored 119 runs. They both put 276 runs together on the scoreboard.

Earlier, Pakistan’s openers Azhar (11) and Shan Masood (22) failed to provide a strong start to the team.
