Pakistan’s right-handed batsman Babar Azam is confident to lead Pakistan’s batting charge from the front against England in their upcoming ODI series.
“We adjusted here by the time and these practice games helped us a lot to read the pitches,” said Babar through a video message from England.
Babar, who struck 101 runs against Leicester in a practice T20 game, said that the pitch offered a lot and being a number one T20 side, Pakistan played up to the mark.
“I was trying to keep Fakhar on strike most of the time because he was playing aggressively and later on after his dismissal, I raced my inning,” he said.
Babar appreciated young bowler Mohammad Husnain who is bowling with accurate line and length and thinks that his pace is a major factor for him to take wickets.
“He has played just a few matches but his skills are growing rapidly,” said the middle-order batsman.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan will play England in an only T20I on May 5 while they take on the hosts in first ODI on May 8.
