Rawalpindi: Skipper Babar Azam said they always try to provide as many chances as they can to youngsters to improve their game.
Sharing his views after leading green shirts to victory in the first T20I against Zimbabwe, Babar said so many youngsters have recently proved their mettle at the international level.
“We focus a permanent combination in the team before going into World Cup. We want 15 players to have game time and more experience,” said Babar.
Talking about his 82-runs knock, Babar said the plan was executed well and it handed them a convincing win. “I really enjoyed my batting as the plan was executed quite well. The plan actually was to build a partnership and luckily I and Hafeez made it right,” he reminisced.
It must be noted here that Pakistan won the first match by six wickets to take a 1-0 lead in three matches series against Zimbabwe.
