Watch: Babar Azam completes Azhar Ali’s push-ups challenge

Lahore: Pakistan’s T20I captain Babar Azam has quickly responded to Test skipper Azhar Ali for his push-ups challenge and completed it quite comfortably.

The 25-years-old batsman did 10 push-ups in a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and nominated former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz.

Remember, PCB along with Pakistan’s Test captain Azhar Ali, has started this unique push-ups challenge. Azhar did six repetitions and threw the challenge to wicket-keeper batsman Sarfaraz, veteran pacer Wahab, Test batsman Asad Shafiq, Tom Banton, and Tom Abell.

Last week, Wahab challenged Azhar to do 50 squats to start a healthy activity among cricketers when there is no cricket activity around. Azhar after completion passed the challenge to all-rounder Imad Wasim, who also successfully performed the challenge.

It must be noted here that the entire world is suffering through coronavirus. Several countries have locked down their cities completely to avoid further spread of this disease. Popular sports events around the world have also been postponed for an indefinite period.
