Abu Dhabi: Pakistan’s Babar Azam became the third Pakistani to score three consecutive centuries after completing the trilogy in the third ODI match against West Indies.

Pakistan posted 308/6 after Azhar Ali won the toss and elected to bat first on a pitch which was conducive for batting. Pakistani skipper led from the front by scoring a century at a time when he was under pressure to score after having failed in the first two ODI matches.

Babar Azam carried on his merry way as he scored his third successive century and mirrored Zaheer Abbas and Saeed Anwar who did the same in 1982 and 1993 respectively. The youngster also broke the record for the most runs in three match ODI series for Pakistan.

Babar Azam’s exploits with the bat earned him praise from many former and current Pakistan cricketers.
