Karachi: Pakistan’s right-handed star batsman Babar Azam has moved up in the ICC Test Batting Rankings following his recent century knock against Bangladesh in the opening Test in Rawalpindi.
Babar shined with his 143-run knock against Bangladesh in front of the home crowd. After this knock, Babar averages 202.50 at home with three centuries in as many matches.
The star batsman has played seven matches in the last 12 months. With inspiring the entire cricket fraternity, Babar has scored 759 runs last year at an average of 75.90.
It must be noted here that Pakistan’s captain in T20Is is now in the top five batters in all three formats. He is number one in T20Is, number three in ODIs and five in the longest form of the game.
