Karachi: Babar Azam’s cover drive has been voted ‘the best’ of this generation in the International Cricket Council (ICC)’s Twitter poll.
According to the final results, Pakistan’s right-handed batsman took 46% votes for his cover drive followed by Indian skipper Virat Kohli who was close enough with 45.9%. Kane Williamson and Joe Root received 7.1% and 1.1% votes respectively.
As many as 260,143 Twitter users cast their votes. The contest between Babar and Kohli was tough till the last moment.

Babar is currently leading the Pakistan team in all three formats of the game. The 26-years-old batter has played 30 Tests, 77 ODIs, and 44 T20Is since his debut against Zimbabwe in 2015 in Lahore.
