He also emphasized that in order to score more singles, the batsman should be physically fit.” The batsman’s job is to run the scoreboard, which requires fitness and mental maturity. If you want to compete with the world, don’t compromise on fitness,” said Yousaf.
He also revealed that his footwork was not good which later in his career was corrected by late Pakistan’s head coach Bob Woolmer.
“During my career, my footwork was not right, which was corrected by Bob Woolmer
Instead of trying to cope with difficult times, learn from your mistakes,” Yousaf added.
“Saeed Anwar and Inzamam-ul-Haq were two talented cricketers, I am proud to play with cricketers like Waqar Younis,” Yousaf concluded by praising his former teammates.
It must be noted that the PCB has decided that Pakistan’s cricketing legends will hold online sessions with current and emerging red and white-ball cricketers.
Women cricketers sessions will be conducted by former captain Wasim Akram and Babar in which around 35 current internationals and emerging players will take part.
