Sri Lanka struggles to 173 all out in fourth ODI against Pakistan.

It was the same old story for Sri Lanka with their batsman struggling to rotate the strike. Thirimanne, though, managed better, making 62 off 94 balls. That was the only significant contribution for Tharanga’s men.

Therefore, Hasan led Pakistan’s attack, again, with 3 for 37.

Sri Lanka was struggling with 91/5, Shadab Khan increased their problems with back-to-back strikes in his first two deliveries to leave them shaking at 99/7 in 24.2 overs.

The newly crowned top-ranked ODI bowler removed Milinda Siriwardana on a short delivery, Usman Khan took a brilliant catch in the deep to complete the dismissal. He scored 13 (32). Sri Lanka had lost half of their side for just 91 runs in 20.5 overs.

Sri Lanka got the upper hand in the fourth ODI of the series as they got four of Sri Lankan batsmen early in the game.

After losing their opener, Dinesh Chandimal and Lahiru Thirimanne looked to rebuild the innings. They contributed 29 runs together before Chandimal got run out after scoring 16 runs. The debutante Sadeera Samarawickrama failed to open his account as Imad bowled him on naught.

Despite losing Upul Tharanga for a duck, Niroshan Dickwella looked to keep up the scoring rate and played some courageous scores for boundaries before getting out off Junaid Khan at a score 22 (16)

Usman Khan Shinwari got his first international wicket on the second delivery that he bowled. It was a peach of a delivery, pick on around off-stump and came in sharply to beat the defense of Upul Tharanga who got out on a duck.

Sri Lankan captain Upul Tharanga won the toss and opted to bat in the fourth day-night international against Pakistan in Sharjah on Friday.

Trailing 3-0 in the five-match series, Sri Lanka made three changes from the side which lost the third match in Abu Dhabi by seven wickets.

Sadeera Samarawickrama was handed a one-day debut while Suranga Lakmal and Seekuge Prasanna were also brought in. They replaced Dushmantha Chameera, Jeffrey Vandersay and Chamara Kapugedara.

Pakistan replaced paceman Rumman and Faheem Ashraf with Imad Wasim and Usman Shinwari. Shinwari is making his one-day debut.
