Lahore: Pakistan team’s all-format captain Babar Azam has expressed joy after lifting the T20I series trophy against South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium.
The 26-year-old Babar highlighted that every individual of the side was committed to each other’s success which is a great sign for the team going forward.
“The best part of this series win is the level of commitment shown by every single member of Team Pakistan. This faith in each other, the perseverance, dedication and mental toughness will take us a long way,” he tweeted.

Lastly, he rated wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan as a ‘true warrior’.

Note, Pakistan beat South Africa in the three-match T20I series by 2-1. The home side also thrashed the visitors 2-0 in the Test series.
