The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) asked for a one-week time before confirming Pakistan tour, sources told ARY News.
According to the sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is concerned over the delay by the BCB despite clarifying all the matters.
A source further revealed that the PCB has contacted BCB in this regard to confirm the tour but they asked for a one-week more to finalize things.
“We haven’t talked about any proposal with them. We just reached out to them to take their confirmation about the tour but they asked for more time. Maybe they announce their decision by next week,” a source from the PCB said.
“The cricket board is worried due to lack of time as the tour is scheduled for later this month. We are waiting for their answer,” he added.
It must be noted here that Bangladesh is to tour Pakistan for three T20Is and two Tests later in January. The opponents are yet to confirm their participation.
