Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has refused to tour Pakistan for the upcoming series comprises of three T20Is, one-off T20 and two Tests.
Bangladesh chief selector Minhajul Abedin has said Mushfiqur has informed us that he will not go to Pakistan as they are going to announce the squad in a day or two.
It is a huge setback for Bangladesh as already their one experienced player Shakib-ul-Hasan is out of the international cricket due to suspension.
It must be noted that Bangladesh will play the T20I series in the first phase at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from January 24-27.
Bangladesh will return to Pakistan for the first Test of the ICC World Test Championship to be held in Rawalpindi from February 7-11.
After the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Bangladesh will visit Karachi to play one ODI on April 3 and the second Test from 5-9 April.
