Bangladesh’s tour to Sri Lanka in jeopardy

Karachi: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) refused terms and conditions provided by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) for the tour.

According to the details, BCB’s president Nazmul Hasan said their team will not spend 14 days quarantine upon arrival. SLC’s COVID-19 protocols include a 14-day strict quarantine and a smaller touring group.

SLC, in a statement, said they have sent the COVID-19 protocols for the tour to BCB and they are waiting for their official statement.

It must be noted here that Bangladesh is scheduled to tour Sri Lanka for Test series in late September.
