Bengal Tigers bounce back after a fighting match


SHARJAH: Bengal Tigers has defeated Punjabi Legends after a fighting match. Great comeback by Bengal Tigers though the Tigers lost their first match of the league yesterday.

Punjabi Legends won the toss and elected to bat first and put 99 runs on board.

Punjabi Legends’ pacer Hassan Ali took 4 wickets to put a dent in Tigers’ efforts but Anwar Ali’s sixes saw them home with four balls to spare.

Famous for his timely slogging, pacer Anwar Ali took charge, in the end, to hit two sixes, in the end, to bring victory his team and keep them in the tournament.

Usama Mir bowls the final over as Naveed finishes the game off with a six straight down the ground. A fantastic win for the Bengal Tigers, who did not lose theirs despite regular fall of wickets.
