Best wishes pour in as Fawad Alam returns to Pakistan’s Test squad


Cricketers and cricket fans wished left-handed batsman Fawad Alam best of luck after he gets a call for Pakistan’s home Test series against Sri Lanka.

Fawad, who will appear in Test cricket after a gap of almost 10 years, took to Twitter to thank god for making it to the national team.

“Happy & excited to play on the big occasion of Test cricket returning to Pakistan. Thankful to Almighty for his blessing. Now waiting to see huge crowds in our home stadiums in sha Allah,” he Tweeted.

His fans and well-wishers engaged on his tweet and wished the domestic performer best of luck for continuing his domestic form.

On the other hand, cricketers also backed Fawad for making a strong impact and grabbing this opportunity from both hands.

Experienced all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez congratulated Fawad.

Umar Akmal also congratulated Fawad and Usman Shinwari. “Just saw our test team vs SL n a huge congrats to Usman Shinwari and Fawad on their comeback!” he said.

It is pertinent to mention here that the first Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played from December 11 to 15 in Rawalpindi while Karachi will host the second Test from December 19 to 23.
