Off-spinner Bilal Asif is highly confident that he will make the most of every single opportunity comes to his way to represent Pakistan.
Bilal eyes a spot in Pakistan’s playing XI against Bangladesh in the first Test starting from February 7 in Rawalpindi. “Its a home Test and I really want to play in front of the home crowd. I think my focus remains on my performance, whenever I will get a chance, I will make the most of it,” he said.
The 34-year-old cricketer believes that he has overcome his mistakes and tries to learn every time. “I have worked hard to once again get my name in the squad. I try my hard to do as good as I can,” he maintained.
To a query about improving his batting skills, Bilal said that he plays as an all-rounder means whenever needed, he will contribute with the bat too. “I am working on my batting. I know I can bat and give advantage to my team,” he added.
On the other hand, the part-time singer also praised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for making efforts for the revival of international cricket in Pakistan. “It is good to see international cricket back in Pakistan. It is exciting to play in front of own people,” he concluded.
