Iconic English player Kevin Pietersen has reportedly backed out of his commitment to play Pakistan Super League.
ARY news reported that Kevin Pietersen has asked for at least 30 million before he officially signs the contract with PSL. This was a bit too much for the PSL authorities to pay and if this story turns out to be true then it is possible that KP will no longer be involved with PSL.
The reports also say that destructive Windies opener Chris Gayle has also asked for at least 20 million before he becomes a part of PSL.
This is a worrying and disappointing news for PSL fans who have pinned high hopes from this mega event. Although earlier PSL head Najam Sethi did say that all players were on board and he never discussed anything like this before but having said that he is yet to come out with his official response on this matter after the news.
