Bollywood actor Sohail Khan backed out from the controversial T10 League due to media reports surrounding it.
Salman Khan’s brother was the owner of Maratha Arabians in the league.
According to the sources, the reason behind backing out of the league is that Khan does not want his name to be involved in any controversy.
Earlier, the former Indian captain, Mohammad Azharuddin has also decided to stay away from the league, while recently England Cricket Board (ECB) and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have shown reservations to the International Cricket Council regarding the T10 League.
On the other hand, Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani stated that they will not issue ‘No Objection Certificates’ (NOC) to Pakistani players to play the league until they get satisfactory answers.
It’s not just cricketers and showbiz celebrities who are backing out, cricket fans in Pakistan has also started a campaign on social media boycotting and banning the dubious league.
