Karachi: New Zealand left-arm seamer Trent Boult has revealed that it was his Pakistan idol, former left-arm pacer Wasim Akram, who inspired me to swing the ball.
On Wednesday, Trent decided to hold a Question and Answer session to interact with his fans and followers on Instagram. He was asked about his inspiration to become a fast bowler.
The 31-year-old further answered ” have a lot of idols but this guy definitely inspired me to swing the ball! No one could move the ball like he could!”
