Boult snatches No.1 spot from Bumrah in ICC ODI bowlers’ ranking


Karachi: New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult has snatched the top spot in the latest International Cricket Council’s (ICC) ODI Rankings from Indian pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

Bumrah, who was wicketless in the recently concluded series against New Zealand as India got whitewashed by the kiwis 3-0.

He bowled 30 overs for 167 runs. Boult despite not playing a single ODI against India because of hand injury grabbed the top spot.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes lost the number one position to Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi in the all-rounder rankings. Pakistan’s all-rounder Imad Wasim is at the number third spot.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli retained the top spot in the batsman rankings along with fellow teammate Rohit Sharma and the only batsman to feature in the top five in all the formats of the game, Babar Azam at second and third position respectively.
