British cricketer dies in a robbery shoot out in West Indies


Trinidad: A young British cricketer Adrian St. John was shot dead by robbers during a mobile snatching scuffle. West Indies renowned cricketer Chris Gayle expressed his condolences and deep sorrow on his sudden death.

According to the local media St. John who played for Gayle Academy was passing by in his car through Trinidad area in West Indies when he pulled over to pick someone and was attacked by two robbers who tried to snatch his mobile, on showing resistance one of the gunman fired hitting him in the head and he died on the spot. The police have arrested the culprits.

Meanwhile West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle expressed his deep sorrow on this incidence and has condoled St. John’s bereaved family and parents. The Academy’s manager said John was a captain of the Academy, a talented cricketer and a very decent person and he was the very first member of Britain’s Chris Gayle Academy.
