Southampton: Stuart Broad, who became the seventh bowler in Test cricket history to take 500 Test wickets was awarded a silver stump by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) before the 3rd Test at the Rose Bowl.
The England team held an informal ceremony on the field. ECB chairman Colin Graves handed over a silver stump to Broad.

The 34-year-old is now on 511 Test wickets, within reach of West Indies’ Courtney Walsh’s tally of 519.
England captain Joe Root also handed over a signed shirt from the team to Graves, whose tenure is coming to an end.
It must be noted that England won the toss and decided to field first in the final Test against Pakistan. The hosts lead the three-match series 1-0.
