KARACHI: Football coaches from the second division of Germany’s football league, Bundesliga have arrived on Friday in Karachi to unearth the hidden football talent, ARY News reported.
Two coaches among four delegates, Oliver Rathenow and Sebastain Lejeune along with a female coach Toma Geb Geddes and head of Eurasia Institute of Germany Andrew Geddes would stay in the city for 10 days to train the young footballers and explore talent here.
The footballers would get training under a programme organised by Karachi United Football Club in collaboration with Pakistan to Germany Study and Eurasia institute of Germany.
Earlier this year, Brazilian football coach had arrived in the city and got impressed by the passion young footballers have for the game. In fact they compared their obsession with the game with the love for football in Brazil.
During his 12-day tour, he trained 200 players and 50 coaches along with physical education.
