The PCB’s four-day level two coaching course commenced at the National Cricket Academy on Sunday, which is attended by fifteen coaches and former and current Test cricketers.
Salman Butt and Ahmed Shehzad are also attending the handy coaching course, alongside, the right-arm fast bowler Umar Gul and the off-spinner, Bilal Asif.
Moreover, among the retired players lot, the most successful Test captain of the country, Misbah Ul Haq, the magician Saeed Ahmal, the left-slow bowler Abdur Rehman, fast bowler Aizaz Cheema and the former wicketkeeper Humayun Farhat are attending the course.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is happy to see the interest towards coaching of former and current cricketers of the country.
“Seeing the interest of Test cricketers towards coaching is a positive sign,” said Director Academies, PCB, Mudassar Nazar.
