The heated moment happened when Philander didn’t move out of the way as a throw by England skipper Joe Root came into Buttler, leaving the keeper unsighted as he gathered the ball.
One fan has termed Jos Buttler as a disgrace to the gentlemen game.
.@josbuttler you're a disgrace to the gentleman's game.

Most of the fans want ICC to ban him for at least one Test but the way ICC has deal this issue has portrayed their dual standards.
At the very least he should be fined and not allowed to play in the next test @josbuttler your behaviour is disgraceful

One of the fans appreciated Philanders’ action as he showed his class and ignored Buttler.
It must be noted that England won the second Test courtesy all-rounder Ben Stokes heroics and level the series 1-1 with the third Test slated to start from 16th January in Port Elizabeth.
