‘Will call management in both situations’ Chairman – Cricket Committee

KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s Cricket Committee chairman – Saleem Yousuf thinks that their last meeting with the team management benefitted a lot.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Yousuf said it is not necessary to call meetings every month and the cricket committee will call the team management in both losing and winning situations.

“I think it is not compulsory to call a meeting every month. We discussed the weaknesses in our last meeting with Misbah, Waqar, and Wasim and it helped us a lot to improve,” he said.

“It was good to see Pakistan winning the series. We will call the team management in both losing and winning situations as there is always room for improvement,” he added.

The former Test cricketer praised Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam for leading the team from the front. “Fakhar and Babar played exceptionally well and proved to be solid walls in front of South Africa,” he highlighted.

“We appreciate their performance and the team who played like a unit. We will have a meeting once this whole tour completes and then we will discuss the positives and weaknesses for improvement,” concluded Yousuf.
