Newly appointed Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Secretary Sanaullah Aman on Thursday announced it will be setting up training camps for junior players to unearth talent. The camps will be for players of three different age-groups.
“We have plenty of talent and a great potential; what we need is to provide opportunities to our youngsters,” Aman told APP. “Players would be shortlisted for the national team based on their performance in the camp,” he said.

Aman said he hoped the training camps would help find talented young players and would also promote the game of tennis in the country.
The PTF Secretary informed that the seasoned duo of Aisamul Haq Qureshi and Aqeel Khan, along with some other talented players will feature in Pakistan’s Davis Cup tie against Thailand in September.
Aman said he will initiate talks with the International Tennis Federation in order to bring international players to Pakistan.
