Karachi: Former Indian cricketer highly praised Saqlain Mushtaq who represented Pakistan as right-arm off-break in Tests and ODIs from 1995 to 2005.
Speaking in a live Instagram session, Singh said that Saqlain was ‘Class’ and he used to win matches for Pakistan in death overs.
“Saqi Bhai was class, he was a class bowler. He was a big match-winner and I still remember how he used to win matches for Pakistan in death overs,” he said.

It must be noted here that Saqlian was the pioneer of “doosra”, a leg break delivery bowled with an off-break action. He represented Pakistan in ODIs and Tests. He has 208 and 288 wickets in respective formats at an average of 29.83 and 21.78 respectively.
